Well, after spending yesterday afternoon wandering the 16th Street Pedestrian mall in Denver, we settled in to our seats on the Greyhound bus and continued working our way South (and a little east).  It was about what you would expect for a long-haul ride on a bus -- dull.  There were, of course, the requisite screaming babies, crazy half-dressed men wandering up and down the aisles, and the woman in front of us (who actually rotated 360 degrees every time she turned a corner) talked the entire way on her cell phone. But, other than that (and the 4-am stop to sit in Amarillo while they cleaned the bus) -- quite uneventful :)

Arriving in Dallas, we've explored the downtown area, including the area where JFK was shot in '63 -- right by our hotel, as it turns out.  From our hotel window, you can see the 6th floor window of the Texas Book Depository and part of the Grassy Knoll.

And the cultural adventure begins . . .
on a Greyhound Bus! Your bus experience with the crazies is just primer for the more exotic cultural experiences to come! I laughed so hard reading about the characters you encountered. So glad you made it safely.

Ugh - long bus rides. A necessary evil I suppose :)
