We have done the walks around the Lochs, played on closed chairlifts due to no snow, not happy, but all was forgiven on Saturday because the mountain was back open and Liz and lee managed to try out snowboarding and they took to it very easily, yes even Liz stayed on the slopes without going of in a strop like she did last year in France when learning to Ski.
Thursday was a mix of walking, shopping and i had to do a couple lessons on the plastic, then the night we all went out joined by some of the locals
After a few sambuccas( spelt wrong)
. guess what you need to be in the only nightclub no later than 23:45, so we were to late and ended up taking over a bar down the road called mambos, Then we all headed for the loch in the bitter wind and chilled out up there with drinks and big jackets.
Friday we ended in the club early, if i recall we were the only ones in there but we did not want to be late again, any way it filled up quick, which was good until we found out it was rock night...Great!!!!!!!! luckily most people requested anything but hard core rock and he played a more normal club night....
Its only 15 days to i leave now, can not wait,

There's lots of snow waiting for you
BC has experienced a deluge, much like the Prairie provinces here at home, so I'm sure there will be no lack of the white stuff waiting to greet you. Let's just hope you won't get the -26 high that we had today here in Edmonton! --Joni
