We knew Athens was not going to take too long to do so we spent 2 days here then got a ferry to Santorini which was on Jimmys list of 20 things to see before you die. Athens had the Acropolis and old Olympic stadium from 1896 but not much more. We met 2 great people in Athens Brian and Becca from California. They came to Santorini with us which made it twice as good. We spent 2 nights on the Island which in Nov was nearly deserted.
We hired quad bikes and drank lots of beer and ouzo and had a ball. The island itself was fantastic with some incredible views and really should be on a list of places to see.
We got the ferry back to Athens stayed 1 more night then bade farewell to Bex and Brian and then left Greece behind.
