We flew from Athens to Cairo on Thurs night arriving in the early hours of Friday morning. As you would expect Jimmy and myself are really organised and had great hotels booked everywhere we went on this trip. Yeah right, when we arrived in Cairo we were really lucky to meet 2 lovely Korean girls named Hye Yeon and Sia,and when the realised we didnt even have the name of a hotel they took us to their hostel.....The King Tut. If you ever go to Cairo avoid this place even if you have to sleep rough. The owners a crook and will try to organise your trip for a "small" fee. Anyway we all left the next day and under the guidance of an eccentric Spaniard called Roman we found a decent place and got on with seeing Cairo. All the tourist sights are in a place called Giza which was amazing, we seen the pyramids and sphinx up close then went into the desert on horseback, Roman,Sia, Hye Yeon and another Korean guy we just called Lee3 came too. There were a few casualties in the desert but nobody broke any bones so no harm done.
