Awoke at 430 am for a glorious seven hour bus ride out to Mt Sinai.

The city itself was more of a transitional town, yet our hotel bused in the tourists, serving buffet lunch to over 200 guests.  In preparation for the Sinai climb, we bucked this trend and opted for the Egyptian Curry Cup O Noodles instead.

The hike up Sinai was a supposedly greuling 3750 steps, taking a minimum of 2.5 hours to complete.  In actuality it was whiped in 90 minutes, stopping continuously for the straglers.

Arriving at the summit early, I befriended a local Bedwin, Hussain, who lived at the peak for weeks at a time, serving tea to the visitors.

As the sun set over the hills, the tourists slowly departed down the mountain, taking the more common 'camel path' on the dark way down.

Upon return, Dad was ready to dig into the dinner buffet, full of fried fish, spaghetti, chicken wings, eggplant parmasean, and dancing old people (celebrating a 70th birthday).

Thinkin about waking at 3am just to hike it again for kicks.
