Day 1: 3hrs in the back of another bloody 4WD, followed by a 1hr wait at the crappiest airport in the world, followed by a 30min flight, followed by lunch, followed by 3hrs on another bloody wooden board on a boat to get to Camp #1, followed by dinner, followed by getting smashed on rum, followed by blissful sleep. Seriously.

Day 2: 3hrs on fantastic wooden board on a boat to get to Camp #2, then 1hr jungle trek to get to the falls. Took lots of photos and had a swim in the oh-so-cool water. Headed back to camp without noticing the massive storm approaching, which promptly started knocking us from our feet with bursts of lightning, ear-bursting thunder and an array of obstacles either falling on our heads or muddying our path to shelter. My camera somehow survived the soaking. Rain continued throughout the night, as did my trips to the toilet.

Day 3: Up stupidly early, headed back to Camp #1 for breakfast, then to the island of Anatoly. Walked behind the Sapo (frog) falls, then went back to smuggle my camera through the flow for some nice pics. Walked on to Sapito (little frog) falls then onto a boat and back to the airport. It was Sunday, so the crappiest airport in the world was closed of course! This meant we got a free direct flight back to Ciudad Bolivar in an hour rather than having to endure the 3hr 4WD ride again.
