Bright lights of Shibuya

Took it relatively easy today - my feet are still not the best and neither was the rain, so only had one thing on my todo list - Shibuya. It is billed as having the busiest pedestrian crossing in Japan, and is a magnet due to cheap shops, resaurants and bars. For me, it is the intersection that always seems to be shown in Hollywood movies and travel shows back home. You know the one? Bajillions of pedestrians all bunch up on the footpaths, then as the green man gives the go ahead they all spring out of the blocks in every direction...
Quite interesting to walk the streets in this area and see rampant commercialism at its best - more building-mounted giant screens than you can poke a stick at!
