Costa Rica gets about 13 feet of rain each year (that's a big change for travelers from San Diego who are used to less than 10 inches of rain in a year!), so it was little wonder that it rain for a bit this morning. Once the skies cleared, we visted Puerto Limon and wandered aroung the craft galleries and the Mercado. Everyone we met was very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The Jamaican influence is clearly here--in accents, food, and clothing.
