We are finishing up our second week in Barcelona and it feels like we just arrived yesterday. There is a completely different perspective of time here because no one really works on a set schedule. My home-sickness has subsided, I'm used to the food, and I'm on their biological sleep schedule. My job is extremely easy so far. I am doing market research for a human resource consulting agency which is a fancy way of saying "I play around on google all day." Ok, so I do a little bit more than just "google" but it doesn't feel like it. The pace here is so much slower than in the states, but to them, we are still working at an incredible rate.
We went on our first excursion last weekend which was a tour of the entire city of Barcelona. The city is incredibly larger than I had initially thought. Here are a few pictures from our tour:

This weekend, we are going wine tasting at the Torres Winery and then traveling to Montserrat Monestary. If you ask me, I would have put the monestary before the wine tasting but this will at least keep things interesting. I'll keep you posted on things to come.
