Happy Father's Day!

First of all I want to say Happy Father's Day to my papa and all the papa's out there! Sorry I can't be home to tell you in person! So today, was a lazy day for Kevin and I. We slept in until about 2:00 P.M. and have pretty much been getting back to all the people who have e-mailed us. Sorry if we are a little slow at getting back to you all. I finally got internet in my room, so hopefully that will speed up the process a little bit.

So here is an update on everything. My job is pretty fantatsic. I work Mon-Fri 10-2. I am working at an architecture firm called AG2 Architects and so far I have just been learning to use AutoCad, which is a program that architects use to drafting interior spaces. So pretty much I work on the computer for 4 very short hours and then I go back to the dorms and hang out.

On Wednesday, Kevin and I went to the beach after work and laid out for awhile.

Then we explored Barcelona a little bit.

We ended up in the Gothic Quarter and seeing the Catedral de la Seu.

As we walked to the top of the stairs at the Catedral de la Seu, I looked over and say a completely naked guy walking towards us. I was in shock. I turned to Kevin and said, "We have to leave right now!" He asked me why and I pointed to the naked man walking towards us. We immediately booked it out of there and walked over to some tents selling antiques to keep our distance. We tried not to watch as he peed in the bushes and then sat down next to some guy, bummed a cigarette and started a conversation with the man. After that excitment, we walked through the Gothic Quarter and found many little shops and Irish bars.

I wanted American food badly so we went to the Hard Rock Cafe, where I had the best burger I have ever had, and we had two bottles of wine. After dinner we headed back to campus and passed out for the night.

Tired Feet

On Thursday after work, we went down to the cafeteria for dinner and ended up staying to watch the soccer game with Kevin's roommate Justin and some of the other people from the program. It was a good time. I eventually headed back to my room and spent a little time with my roommate Ana. The boys stayed and had some more beers with the people from our program.

On Friday after work and dinner, Kevin and I decided to stay in and watch another soccer game and drink wine. We tried to watch movies online but apparently you can't outside the U.S. So if anyone knows where to download movies outside the U.S. let us know.

Kevin has most of the pictures from our city tour so I will have him post a blog tomorrow about our day on Saturday and put in pictures. Miss you all!
