We had a long drive to Granada which is close to the Sierra Nevada mountains in the south of Spain. We stopped at some old windmills in the La Mancha district which featured in the movie "Man of La Mancha" and Craig had a photo next to a statue of Don Quoxite - getting right into the spirit.
We finally arrived in Granada mid afternoon - quite a lovely place. We walked uptown to see The Royal Chapel of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella whose bodies are supposed to be there. Such grandeur and riches! It had beautiful artworks, 2 huge organs, gold altar, stained glass windows - quite spectacular. Then we walked down into the souk (market) and wandered around - really interesting. After dinner, we took a taxi with a crazy driver up to the top of the town through the narrowest of streets/laneways to see the city lights at night. Now that was a crazy drive.
