Today is our last day of God, Humanity, and Knowledge, as well as our elective class. I think I'm going to cry to have Them over.
Today in God, Humanity, and Knowledge, we met our professor for next week's one class, talked about the writing assignment which we had most recently turned in, and then had our very last time in discussion groups. We had a really good discussion about our future plans, purposes, and vocations. I'm going to miss Dr. Cramer!
In Creative Writing we read some more devotions, which was great. Dr. Hensley has been being really fun these past two days. He laughs at everything. Mine didn't get read, but he's still going to edit it and send me the edited copy back. After we read the devotionals, he asked us all what kind of school we went to, why we had chosen Creative Writing, and how we found out about CRAM. It was interesting to hear everyone's answers.
After class a bunch of us stayed behind to say thank you or have him sign things. A few of us asked if we could do another book review, and he brought us back to his office and showed us a whole box of unpublished books which we could use. Each of us chose one, and we'll turn the review into him by mid-July.
It was so sad to be leaving that class for the last time! I love it!
After dinner we all went to the President's house to play games and have a campfire. I don't think that he was home, but still its awesome that the president of this school lets students come over to his house all of the time. He usually doesn't open the student section of the house in the summer, but he opened it especially for us. We had a great time there! We must have played Apples to Apples and Bananagrams at least a thousand times.
We did have a campfire and s'mores before it rained again. It loves to rain on us.
Afterwards we all headed over to the Euler Science Center, where we had two different movies playing. The Avengers and something called The Fall. Everyone chose and went to whichever one they wanted. I figured that i had to watch the Avengers at some point since everyone at home thinks that its awesome. I kept falling asleep for a few seconds and then waking back up, so what i mostly know is that there were a lot of people shooting things.
I got most of it...and i wasn't too impressed. In my opinion they have officially ruined the beauty which is ancient Norse legend by turning the gods into aliens.
We're in bed late. No time to do much but sleep.
