OK almost ready.  90% packed.  Of course the weather report looks awful - high wind and thunderstorms in Green Bay.  You never have to deal with these issues in San Diego.  It wouldn't be so bad, but Green Bay airport is so small and they close at the drop of a hat, little fog, slight drizzle...I don't know if they have ever heard of radar...

The only answer is to check the weather in the morning and if it looks bad, to skip work and go early to catch an earlier flight to Detroit and wait there all day for my connection to Dusseldorf.  Detroit weather looks clear.  I should have thought about this when I booked...I only have an 85 min layover in Detroit as it stands, so if I get delayed out of Green Bay I'm screwed and miss my connection.  Then I miss my connecting flight on another airline to Zurich, then I miss the rental car...it all falls apart...nervewracking.  Hopefully I will be blessed by meteorologist incompetence tomorrow and the skies will be clear....
