Mancora Peru

Took a five hour bus journey to the Peruvian border today. We all got through customs without any hassle thankfully. Our first stop in Peru was the surfing town of Mancora. Was brilliant to finally get time to relax on the beach. We hired surfboards for the day for only 20 Peruvian Soles(approx 5 euro) and our hostal was right on the beach which was brilliant, unfortunately the rooms were full of cockroaches and ants!!
Peru is slightly more expensive than Ecuador, but still very cheap compared to Irish prices. The most notable thing about Peru was the huge increase in the number of tourists, especially American. More thumbnails ...
