Barbershop Anyone?

Can't believe today...was supposed to be meeting a young girl...but she had to be at work and called to cancel at the last minute...so Irina from my accommodations accompanied me first to the "underground" bank--sign was at street level, but stairs went to a basement location-- (2.5% service fee) and then spent almost the rest of the day trying to obtain tickets for the Barbershop Competition Finals for Wednesday, August 23. Ended up being given tickets for this evening's performance (free)... Treat of the day was dining at the elegantly appointed Cafe de Or in the mall adjacent to the Grand Europe Hotel...ordered pumpkin soup (it had a round mousse of a salmon pate in the middle), followed by a vegetarian grain "square" surrounded by a delicious mushroom sauce...and accompanied my fare with a well-earned glass of chardonnay..."home wine"...really their "house" wine..:) Enjoyed watching the potential shoppers entering the mall...most with perfect figures, of course...
