Desert, Bikes and Beverly Hillbillies Our introduction to the Thar desert was initally challenging with each rider having there own camel boy who had very little English. As the time went by we were able to communicate more and more. The people of the desert are so open and friendly once you open up to them yourself. The children are amazing and love to have their photo taken and often you will be framing a shot to find little heads popping into view. toilet breaks also facinated the little ones who were facinated by our girls pink behinds. We rode the camels for the full three days and are very pleased with ourselves. Ken ended up with some severe bruising to the inner thigh which had him/me riding with one leg draped over the camels neck (very Laurence).
The meals in camp have been really good with a wonderful selection of dishes to choose from. Rice noodles vegatables and lamb chicken and egg dishes all with an east west flavour. More thumbnails ...
