After the madness that was Samui and Phangan, we headed off to gorgeous
Railay Beach for some well needed chillaxin'......hmmmmm dunno where we
were thinking we were gonna fit in the relxing amongst our
action-packed few days! We started off saddling-up to rock climb the
cliffs that make Railay's views so pituresque. After conquering the 4
tough and tricky climbs and toning my B-laying skills (!) I was an
absolute sweaty mess....whatever happened to looking like a bronzed
goddess on the golden sands?!?! It was deffo worth it though...spesh
listening to Tash's girly screams as she dangled off the cliff while
our instructor held her life in his hands but was casaully checking out
his texts messages! The 'chilled out' night then started when we hit
the beach for some wine coolers to watch the stunning sunset (which was
enhanced by a rainbow coming out to play!). The night then descended
into a reflection of the rest of Thailand since Lana arrived (!) with
cocktails and samsong buckets and photo competitions between me and Lan
to see who could look like the biggest freak by using bar props (we
both accepted victory with our joint effort in the freaky wooded masks
episode....maybe this was one where you had to be there so I'll upload
pics eventually!).....and the night ended with Lan sprawled out on the
dance floor after conceding defeat in limbo! This place deffo has a
Caribbean vibe to it....Bob Marley is on repeat in every bar and all
the Thai men pay homage to the man himself by being complete clones of
him with their dreds nd laid-back everything.....especially our
rockclimbing instructor who seriously is the spitting image of Bob
himslef, oh and surpise surpise calls himself Bob!

Our last day in Railay was spent on a boat trip to Ko Hong to
kayak...OMG can our bodies not be left alone to rest for one
day.....aching arms all round! But it was deffo worth it when we were
kayaking through an absolutly gorgeous lagoon and sunbathing on a strip
of white sand stretching out from the cliffs into middle of the

Leaving Railay tomorrow for Phi Phi Islands....(ok so this blog is late
and I've already been and gone from Phi Phi and WOW was it fantastic!!!)
