Ski School is in full swing, a few photo's attached for y'all.
I'm now teaching in the adults school, although I still get sent down to the kids
every now and then. As part of the professional development, myself,
Woody and Ryan the Lion (a bit like a smaller crazier Mr T from the A team - but white)
went and attended the CSCF (Canadian Ski Coaches Federation) instructor level 1
We all passed on the first day, so the next two days we spent spanking it around Apex
mountain - which was nice. We can now team people how to race and ski faster.
It's a great course but it proved to be detrimental to instructing back
up at Silver Star. Taking absolute beginners down a
black on their first day shouting "faster, ski faster you smuck"
Some sad news - Marie Helene and Hugo are leaving the area to return to Quebec.
Don't ask me why, the area they are going to is as flat as a witches tit and doesn't
have any snow
book reading club. Should keep them occupied for three nights.
With this sad news in mind I'd like to start a campaign to keep them in BC.
The campaign will be called - "Keep the totty in BC" or for those who are more culturally
orientated "Keep the nice French Folk in BC".
Please send your comments and words of support to the blog.
Personally I think it's a crying shame that Gizmo's godparents are leaving him.
With this in mind, I'm dedicating this blog to Hugo and Marie Helene, hence all the
Speaking of Gizmo, he sends his regards. He's now cocking his leg or at least
to trying to. He still can't get past weeing on his leg, but at least the boy is trying.
Right I'm off, I swear that Elaine will write the next one.
Have a great Xmas and New Year and remember those immortal words from Jim Bowen
"Keep out of the black in keep in the red, there's nothing in this game for two in a bed...."
We Miss You ALL.
