Today we visited one of the strangest places I have ever been.  I am not quite sure I believe it myself but it was pretty interesting.  We took a bus to a town outside Praha.  We were in a small town that was quite lovely to wander around.  One of its main attractions is very unique.  I'll try to summerize.  1000 years ago there was a church in this town with a grave yard.  A priest or someone brought some dirt from Jerusalem with him, so this place became quite famous and many people wanted to be buried here.  There was a plauge and the number increased.  Soon the church had to decrease its land area because of some politics.  And the bones of the people who wanted to be buried there were piling up.  So someone decided to make them into art.  The building that currently exsists there is about 500 years old or so.  It is quite small.  But when you enter, the entire decor is made of bones pretty much.  There are four pyramids of bones in each corner.  They are not tied together in anyway, just stacked with heads and leg bones mostly.  In the center of the room there is a chandler made of every bone in the human body.  YOu really have to see the pictures. Its quite amazing.  Jaw bones make up the main hanging parts.  Around the room you see garlands of heads and arm or leg bone strung about like you might hang Christmas lights!  It wasn't really creepy because its hard to believe its real even when you see it with your own eyes.  You just hope that you are paying respects properly!  Oh ya and the town is also famous because there was quite a lot of silver found there back in the day.  So you can buy a nice souviner.  A skull and cross bone replica, or silver jewlery.  hmmmm.............
