Well today was going to be a rest day for us as we intend to have a big one tonight for Shaun's Birthday.  We finally got out of bed around lunch and decided to get something to eat and do a little bit of shopping.

It was the first time we really got to see Vegas during the day and it looks a little cheap & tacky.  The lights really make the place and the nightly shows just set it off.  It was a crappy weather day too - we just about got blown down the street - so we decided to go back to our room and drink before the big night.

Shaun sent us a text to say that he got a really nice room at "THE HOTEL" for his Birthday and we were to meet there for some drinks before heading out.  The room was amazing and the view was the awesome.  We had some drinks and then went down stairs to get into our stretched hummer limo for an hours drive around before getting dropped at the restaurant.  The restaurant was the Stratosphere Revolving Restaurant and the meal was really nice - the service was not the best in the world - But the view was the best in the world and you truly felt like you were on top of the world.

Shaun had a little "LOTS" to much to drink and decided to turn in after dinner.  We all headed up to the viewing platform and crazy Greg decided to do some physco ride that shot you from the top of the restaurant and back down again.  Way to scary for us so we ended the night there...

Hummers and Heights
Tom - I understand the Hummer (who wouldn't after owning a Jeep). But isn't the sky restaurant a little out of your comfort zone?

Loving the blog entries guys - keep them up. Bill
