the fishing village of Fiskardo is beautiful, more Italianate than Greek in color and architecture. Home to many chartered yachts, I think it'd be an ideal vacation stop sailing around independently. The water has been so calm the last several days, the ship has opened up the back deck and brought out the jet skis, kayak, banana boat, etc. I am so salty that all I need is a lime and some tequilla to make my own body shots. An interesting idea for next time.... Walked through town with Mr B, then took a hike w/ the concierge over the hill to a small cove, with beautiful blue-green water. Everyone we met was extremely friendly, including the nice young men who invited us to share their cars with them. Niiice. Did not finish Corelli's Mandolin as I had intended to. Thus, I will need to come back again to better appreciate the locations.
