We eventually nodded off last night amid the screeches and the heat- obvious now why it was so oppressive- its raining! It doesn't rain in mildura according to the staff here so perhaps we are in a state of sleeplessness and we are imagining all the wet stuff falling out of the sky is not really rain at all! Feels like it though and we are getting very wet.... Back to the dry shopping centre across the road where the locals cant believe it - theyre thrilled its raining - so we were right all along and the clouds have followed us here too! We are about to be hailed as raingods in Australia. Mildura also known as sunraysia - not many of those around today. As well as the puddles outside we have a few in the tent too. Taking refuge in the comfy tv lounge again we get lots of photos on the old blogs so check them out! We wanted to do a paddlesteamer cruise this arvo but the rain hasn't stopped so we hope we can do that further down the murray somewhere else.as the rain is constant we try to get a cabin for tonight but this site is full - there are lots of others around but we cant get all our stuff back in maz to move on because its so wet so another restless night beckons - still the boyracers wont be out tonight will they? We get chucked out of the tv lounge at 10pm after catching up with a few folks back home on msn.nice to hear from you !
Dinner tonight was thai chicken wings and stirfry- smelt better than it tasted! Back at the tent things arnt so bad now its dark! But the revheads are back too- wheelies in the rain has just got to be tried!

It's almost non stop rain here too but we ain't got the sunshine to look forward to after it's stopped....!!!!
