Jim decided not to bother with the doctors because he was feeling on the mend so we all just have a chill out day on the campsite - watching the boats go by on the river and smirking at the show off waterskiers when they came a cropper as they frequently did! It was a bit cooler today but still hot enough for nattie to want to spend most of the day in the fantastic swimming pool on site- she makes a few friends here. Bev goes for a dip too but poor old jim is confined to barracks. He feels well enough to bbq the chunky steaks we got for yesterday's dinner but didn't eat last night cos we couldn't be bothered! There are some great facilities on this riverside park but the campers kitchen is crap! And miles away from our tent so our trusty gas stove with the cast iron plate cooks up a treat and has all the neighbours wishing they'd been invited! We do have some unwelcome guests though- 2 great big pelicans who wont go away- we made the mistake of giving them some tidbits earlier and now theyre back for more! Lots of photos later we chase them off with a big stick- shoooo
