Once again we're back in Bethlehem, our home base if you will. What's really nice is that it is starting to feel like home. Of course, nothing is quite like coming home to your real home, but we're staying in a guest house with a family so it's been really nice to come to back to a house and familiar, wonderful people each time we return to Bethlehem. So we've got that going for us :)

The past couple days after Jerusalem we have just been working on our reports on our villages where we were interviewing people and volunteering a couple of weeks ago. My village is Battir, and we've been working on this project for 6 weeks now and I'm kind of over it. I mean the report is turning out MUCH better than we were expecting, actually on the bus ride back from Jerusalem my group and I were all exchanging our worries about this paper. But fortunately, we have a lot more to say than we thought, so it's turning out pretty decently.

Also, today was the most beautiful, amazing day I have yet to experience here. The sun was out, it was in the upper 60s, low 70s, and everything was green because of the rain we've been having. It was SO GORGEOUS!! It felt like a wonderful spring day in St. Louis where all you want to do is be outside or roll down your car window on the way home and enjoy the weather. It was awesome. We all spent the morning outside working on our reports, basking in the sunshine. It was glorious :)

Tomorrow's another free day, then we have a couple days in Bethlehem working on our reports and then we're off to Auja near the Dead Sea where I think we're staying at some environmental compound thing. I'm not really sure, but I know it has to do with the sustainability aspect of our trip rather than the conflict stuff. We haven't focused as much on this part just because the conflict is so in your face, but I'm excited just because I don't know much about it! After that, we come back to Bethlehem for the last time! Wowzers.

Well, that's all for now. Cheerio!
