Today the weather is in the upper 40's and of course I am not wearing a coat. :-) Today I have finished packing up and then just relaxing till going to the Mancuso's for app's tonight from 5:00-8:00pm. They are going to borrow my car over the holidays so I will go over there and then leave it there.
Time at the Mancuso's was fun with good food and friends. I call it the "left over party" for anyone that is either traveling late or not leaving the country. I fell into the category of leaving late-not till 1:55am on Dec. 25. Yes, I can write about this now as Mom and Dad know that I am home and the surprise worked. Maha and Rassem picked me up with my three tubs, 2 suitcases, 1 carry on and me to take me to the airport at 10:00pm. Once we got to the airport, they waited with my till the entry area opened and by 11:00, I was though with checking in my bags, got seat assignments all the way through, and a pass to the lounge. Before I got to the lounge, I had to go and buy Kia her cheesy cashews as that was her request.
Sitting in the lounge was relaxing as I was knitting a scarf that I needed to get done and then started reading a Vince Flynn book. My flight took off on time and I was sitting in business class enjoying my space! Yippee-I am on my way home .....
