I got to decorate cookies!!!! Last night I mixed up a batch of white sugar cookies and Tamara's chocolate cookie dough mix so it could sit over night and be ready for baking.
This morning I was frantically rolling and cutting out cookies as I had some students coming over to decorate with me. I also needed to go out and find red food coloring and found a bonus color-black. By 1:30, I had all the cookies baked and the table ready to go for decorating. Ruth and Mary were first with Monique and we decorated quite a few before Mai and Mona arrived with Maha and her parents and then Mitchell and Andrew arrived with Lisa and we all got into mood of making frosting creations. By 4:30, all were gone and the kitchen was cleaned up!
My next task was to start packing up my stuff that I am moving back when I go home for Christmas. That was daunting! I ended up packing 3 tubs of "stuff" that I don't need till I get my house organized in Richfield this fall. Oh, how I love moving and packing in tubs!!!
