This morning was for packing as I hadn't done that yet! Terri took Anita and I to the airport to catch our flight to Muscat, Oman. We got to the airport with plenty of time so we grabbed some lunch there and just relaxed-read, knit, and chatted till we got on the plane around 3:30pm.
The flight was fine and Anita and I were able to sit next to each other. She did her cross stitch and I have been busy reading the "Twilight" series that a couple of my students had got me hooked on reading. I was on book number 3 and knew that I would fly though it!
Once we landed, we bought our visas for 6OR(Omari rial) which was about $15US. From there it was to go and get our car but for some reason my reservation from Travelocity wasn't there. Luckily, there was a car available that was an automatic so off Anita and I went in the dark to find our hotel. Thrifty had no map and that guy really had no clue where we were staying but we had a map and general directions.
Finally we found it! Our room was there and that was a good thing! By this time, we were tired and ready for bed.
