It's Thursday and payday!!!  Of course, it's also a chance for the staff to gather at the Grenadier after school. Why not add to the chaos and have a Middle School dance for Peace One Day?  I had also been invited,  with Anita, to the home of the Keval's.  I have Mehraan in my 7th grade geography class and Anita had their daughter, Ameera, for math last year.  They had also lived in Oman for 4 years and had lots of tips to share about what to see while we were in Muscat for the upcoming Eid.
Dinner was an iftar meal-appetizers of pastries filled with meat or potatoes, soup, and then sabzi, rice, and a couple of curries.  It was all so fabulous and it didn't take long to fill up with these goodies!  Mubina gave us her favorite places to shop, eat, and get around the city.  She drew up maps and lots of helpful hints on how to shop in Muscat!  I definitely need help in that category!!!
Anita and I didn't leave until 9:00pm so I wasn't able to help with the dance at all.  I felt bad.  So coffee at Starbucks it was!
