Today was another great day in Istanbul! We were picked up at the hotel to go on a boat tour of the Bosporus so we could span two continents. There was a bus tour that took us to the Spice Market but it was closed but we were able to wander through some other shop areas. There was the guy stacking dates by hand for a display, a shop that sells materials for making cheese, and then all the spices and pigeons around the area!
From there, we got on the boat for about an hour and a half and just cruised. It was so much fun and so relaxing! Once we got back, we decided on lunch nibbles at Starbucks and then headed to the Topatki Palace grounds. It was back down the hill and not what I was expecting at all!
The grounds are huge and filled with some of the impressive tile work I have ever seen!!!!! The pictures just don't do it justice. From there, we found the back way to the hotel and finally stopped at a restaurant next to the hotel for some mezes. Now it was time to pack as tomorrow I have to leave for Amman.
