School was normal but I was a little bit excited as I was leaving this evening for Tel Aviv to meet up with Barb and Les for the Labor Day weekend.

After school, the crew went to the Grenadiar for beverages and dinner and we stayed there for a couple of hours.  Next I needed to pack for the weekend.  I had heard it was hot so I put in cool clothes and a pair of shorts hoping that I would wear them.

I flew out at 10:00pm so Anita and Jaena took me to the aiport about 9:00pm which was plenty of time to wander through Duty Free.  No, I didn't buy anything as I don't need anything!  The flight was uneventful for a 28 minute flight as it was just an up and down jaunt.

The Tel Aviv airport it HUGE!  It seemed like I walked forever to get my luggage and go through customs but I finally made it through.  Next up was to get a taxi and go to Netanya where I was meeting Barb and Les.  I was hoping that it would be cheap but it was truely the most expensive taxi ride for 25 minutes.  Wanna guess???  It was about $80US plus $5US for 1 piece of luggage!!!!!!!!!  I was at the apartment of Eddie and Dumameit Hose by about 11:30pm and Barb was waiting for me.  It was great to see them and we talked for a while and then decided that we had to go to bed as it was going to be a busy day.
