School started today with the normal chaos of any new school year! Kids were lost and confused, schedules had holes in them and then add in the new kids and parents. Sound crazy? Sounds normal!

The day started off with advisory-I have 8th graders again so I am happy. From there it was Block A, snack and then an assembly, Block B-very short prep, Block C with an unscheduled fire drill then lunch, Block D and then the day was done. I don't know how many kids I had today as there were many on the roster that didn't show or were still on vacation. Imagine that!

I left school at 4ish so I could go to Anita's for dinner and the Sunday news programs. It was fun to get back into that routine but Steve was missed as we had to do the google work he normally did when we had questions while watching the shows. Anita got him on Skype so I was able to talk to him for a couple of minutes which was a lot of fun.

Currently, I am watching a fencing duel between the USA and France for the Olympics. The only problem is that it is an Italian tv station I picked up on the satellite so don't understand a word but at least get to watch something.

I'll have some pictures tomorrow of what my room and the kids look like. Have a good one-

Kirsten
