Before flying out, this has been the past few days:
Sunday-at the lake and then Julie & kids came for smores
Monday night-car got backed into
Tuesday-ran errands and worked at Kia's, book club in Eagan(didn't read the book)
Wednesday-coffee at the Bean Factory, checked on the house-not a good idea, had the hair done, met Meg for lunch, coffee with Theresa & Meg, MCSS party at Emma's and then back to Hastings to finish up the packing
Thursday-rearranged the Paper Shop, weighed the bags and had dinner
Friday-Golf tournie for CIC at Wapicata in St. Cloud-our team beat Sue's by 5 strokes-bummer!, dessert at Granite City and then back to Hastings
Saturday-dropped off bags at airport, coffee and then gift market till 2 and then met Barb and Les at Perkins for one last round of bacon and left MSP an hour late for Chicago and the Amman flight left early! I slept.
I arrived back into Amman on Sunday, August 10 along with Kristie L. Anita and Jaena were at the airport to meet me along with Sara-it was good to see them all! The flight was long but I slept for the majority of it-I guess everything caught up with me. :-) Jaena and Sara dropped Anita and me off, got everything into the apartment and then went down to Anita's for dinner. It's quite strange not to have Steve here-he will be missed! After dinner, I came back up and unloaded all of my stuff so the suitcases are put away. :-)
It was 10p when I went to bed but fell asleep about midnight. I'll ride with Anita to school in the morning once we have met at Starbucks with the crew.
The new year is off and running! Thanks to all of you that I saw, had coffee with, talked on the phone with, knitted with or whatever that case may be-I had a blast! Know that you are always welcome to come and visit-check first as many of my holidays are already booked with visitors from the US.
