We arrived to Venice on Saturday and stayed 3 nights.  Venice is beautiful, but very crowded and very expensive!  We had a great stay in our hotel that my brother recommended, thanks Kevin!  Our hotel was in a very quiet, non-touristy area, right on a canal.  We did lots of walking and wandering and getting lost in the alleys (it's hard not to do that in Venice!).  Ate lots of pizza (all we could afford there!), and had a nice, relaxing time.
