Got to go fast people waiting for the comp....

We came to Madrid today. Lacey and I got our bus tickets to Granada which is nice to have set up. We rode around on metro... they went clothes shopping I wondered through a book store and then we met up with some friends of my UO travel buddies and we went to get food. After about 2hours in a place we came to the conclusion that we had eaten in a Gay Cafe.... We really should have picked up on that I think we were the only girls in there. At least I figured it out before we left some of the group had to be told that is where we had been. Oh well I guess it was the experience... we should have realized we were the only girls a lot sooner....

Tomorrow we plan to see more of madrid and prep to end our journey. I am pumped to be back in a Spanish speaking country because I know what is going on and donīt feel as ignorant. Hopefully my spanish will cut it... I am still a wee bit concerned.

That about summarizes the day.... Oh the food in Italy was WAY better so far.... Maybe that will change...
