Got up this morning and were farewelled by a beautiful take away breakfast courtesy of James (thanks!!)  It was sustained us for the whole day (considering we had a bad sleep - i have developed a bad toothache) and so we didnt stop until we got to Fitzroy Crossing - our stop over for the night.  On the way we saw 2 cars (a ford wagon and a holden ute) smashed beyond recognition by massive cows.  The cars had been left on the side of the road (next to the dead animals) as there was no way the owners could drive them anywhere - they were a mess. It slows you down thats for sure :/

The Boab tree is the new amazement as we travel inland - they are awesome trees and were used to hold prisoners as they were transported across the country.  Our newest animal addition is the wild pig - as I speak John is over in the bush trying to find it!

The liquor laws here are even tighter and light beer is served at the pub at our caravan park until 5.  No takeaways at all, everything purchased must be consumed at the restaurant or pub.  Just like Bali we had some locals trying to sell us paintings.  The caravan park we are at is packed and we even have massive 2 storey vans here - bigger then the house at wickham (i know - wouldnt be hard!)

Tomorrow we are up early and off to Kununurra for a few days - home of the Ord River Irrigation Scheme - a revolutionary irrigation plan used to coax crops from dry land. It is also home to the Argyle Diamond Mine - the worlds biggest! (not open to the public though)

Im going to try and get John out of the bushes and away from the wild animals!
