Yesterday we checked out Cape Le Grand National Park - absolutely beautiful beaches with the whitest sand we have seen so far - was amazing. Then in the evening we went to the only hotel in Esperance and watched the union (and for the first time we found a pub that showed something other than AFL and there was actually some people that watched it with us as well).
We got up nice and early this morning and drove for another bunch of miles (and miles and miles - 733 kms to be precise, bringing the total kms for 4 days to 2697!) and saw diverse landscape again - but the saddest thing was how dry some areas were and how empty their dams are - you can truly see how bad the droubt has been in places like this
We have riden the bikes through town this afternoon and are now settled for the night (big sleep due) and then we are off to the National Parks tomorrow (possibly no reception for a few days) the beaches look fantastic there and lets face it - the camping is cheap! Thats after we go and see the 200 meters of Jetty that we can get to :(
Some food stats - dearest block of chocolate - $10.60 (Roadhouse on the Nullarbor) Sausage Roll - $4.80 (Roadhouse on the Nullarbor) Schooner - $7.20 (Esperance)
