Natalia's pub is where we chose to eat tapas and drink wine in the sunshine. (Natalia is very obviously Scottish!) The sun was blazing and we enjoyed relaxing and watching people walk along the promenade and hearing the waves crashing into the shore. It is a lovely beach and this place has a character of it's own.
The town of Joiosa is traditionally a fishing port and has a variety of houses all painted bright colours reputedly so the fishermen can spot their house while out at sea. Of course many of the houses are now apartments but judging by the washing out on the line I should think quite a few are still fishermen!
The outlying prominatory rocks were covered in seabirds and Colin braved climbing the rocks to get a good shag and thought it quite worth while (the photograph that is).
Paula would love Natalia's bar, you can sit there all day and play backgammon in the sunshine. Sounds good to me.
We returned to enjoy the last of the sunshine at the camp with our own plate of tapas and a glass of wine. Tonight there is a cabaret in the bar, not sure what to expect but we might give it a whirl. I am not expecting Micheal Buble but it could be fun.
