Today Colin and I left early at 7:30 in the morning and got a running start start to the day.  We did Mad Libs for a better portion of the morning, and in the afternoon Colin got the computer out and decided to get himself psyched up for Space Camp by watching the movie "Space Camp".  Shortly after the movie was done we arrived in Metropolis Illinois, home of Superman.  We spent some time in Metropolis looking around at the superman statues, museums, and stores.  After that we headed to McDonalds where we had supper and let Colin play in the play room for a while to burn off some energy.

Then it was back to the interstate where we started driving again.  We made it into Alabama about 8:00 where Colin got his first glimpse of a Saturn 1 rocket that was at the rest area.  We made it to Huntsville about 8:45 but spent the next 45 minutes trying to locate the hotel.  By the time we got there Colin was asleep so I carried him into the hotel and unloaded truck and took a shower and went to bed.
