This is the last full day of vacation. Tomorrow's destination is home with all the work to be done once getting home, mowing the yard, cleaning, laundry and returning to work. UGH. Well, best not to think of that at this time.
Today has been not so much of an unusual day for the last days of vacation, lots of driving, sleeping, reading, and caching. For those of you who have read my travel journal let me explain geocaching and caching. It is a game of high tech hide and seek where people hide objects and post the coordinates on the geocaching.com website and you take the coordinates and try to find these objects. It has been described as using multi-million dollar military satellites to find Tupperware hidden in the woods. Any way, they are hidden all over the globe and we generally try to get at least one in each state we travel to as well as the provinces in Canada, I have even found them in the Bahama's.
Anyhow, the allergies are kicking back up again, so much for the temporary reprieve. I did manage to finish reading my book on the Chilkoot trail, which I might add was a very insightful book. We stopped at one of the caches which was in New Salem, ND for Sue the largest Holstein cow. Caches take you places like that, just places that you might not have stopped at that maybe unique to the area, geological features, or areas of special interest, but sometimes they are just stuck in a ditch or a walmart parking lot. They can be anywhere.
So thats about some and substance for the day, just kind of vegging out and trying to kick back out and relax. Like I said tomorrow's destination is home and I return to work Tuesday.
