Show trip route
Well we started when Mum, the boys, my sisters and I were waiting for the other adults waiting to get on the cruise, Finally they came. When we got on the cruise, it looked so luxurious.
My family got two double beds and a fold down bed as well as a balcony. The garden café was my favourite and most food places you didn't have to pay. In the garden café there was ice-cream and a chocolate fountain. Outdoors there was table tennis, golf, basket ball, 4 spas, 2 pools and 1 little baby pool.
We spent 1 week (unfortunately no more) on our cruise ship, the Norwegian Sun. It was the best!
Because we were with another family, including Daniel and Timothy, us kids had some time without Mum and Dad.
Over the week us kids were amazed by the size of the ship. In between meals, we played in the pool with the waves sloshing around, explored the table tennis, golf and basketball courts (my fave) and improved our skills, watched movies and cartoons in our rooms, went in the see-through lifts, sat on our balcony and watched passing islands, etc, etc. In the evenings we saw a show with some of the best acrobats in the world, and on the last night watched a crew talent show with a finale "fountains" in which some of the crew solemnly and rhythmically spat water on each other - it was hilarious.
We stopped at ports for half a day to a day, at Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway.
But the best bit was probably The Food! We ate at the Garden Cafe mostly (a buffet) and stuffed ourselves but sometimes we ate at fancy places such as the Four Seasons or Seven Seas. Yum!
