Where I stayed
This was an extra added to the trekking side of the trip.
I thought id had enough of the leeches in the forest, but it was worth it.
This place is stunning. I spend a few days with nice relaxed people, sleeping in a hammock and relaxing in an Eco camp. To take a bath/shower you head to the nearby stream and relax in the waterfall. so refreshing but it does get quite strong!
Just a few instances with the odd leech. One attached itself to my love handle. Cheeky wee fellow! That's the most intimate Ive been in a while :)
This place is a must to visit whilst in Borneo.
One afternoon we enjoyed a sweaty but nice forest walk to be rewarded with a swim in a large waterfall., truly awesome
The night trek was great, unfortunately now slow loris to be seen but we did find the amazing famous horned tree frog. so cute.
On the day we left, on reflection it was brilliant. But I was slightly disappointed we didn't get to see the famous very large rafflesia flower. but so far I have been extremely lucky with the wildlife I have encountered in Borneo.
The evening on the 7th will be spend updating my blog for everyone as it is so behind followed by dinner and a few drinks before flying to Kuala Lumper.
