And so my Bali trip comes to an end.  I wake at 6am and finish updating my blog entries... Carmen and I then head to breakfast before we say our goodbyes.. Carmen is off to do a yoga class and I need to pack and leave so I won't see her before I go...

Goodbyes are always so hard and I'm glad that I was lucky enough to meet some amazing people and share the experience. This time with Carmen has been so much fun... needless to say there were a few tears!!!

From my original relaxing, to my days during and after the tour, Bali exceeded any expectation I had!  It has something for everyone and I have loved every single minute..

The tour was fantastic and the knowledge that Dara our tour guide was able to share was second to none... the girls are fantastic, we've all shared so many laughs, stories and experiences... it has been a very fulfilling time.. relaxing, calming and spiritual...

So today I'm off to Singapore... my flight is about 2.5 hours so not particularly long... this will also be the destination I fly back to the UK from, so I have lots to do and see before that time. Also in three weeks Shelley is flying over to Bangkok and I can't wait to see her and catch up and then explore.... its like Christmas coming early!!  So I need to sort out where I'll be and how I'm going to get there... No worries Shelley... I'll soon know....

I'm in my seventh month of travel now and time is going far to quickly.... and before I know it  my taxi to the airport has arrived within 30 minutes ... traffic in Bali can be very busy so at least I arrive in plenty of time and find a nice restaurant for a spot of lunch and wait for boarding...

As before on my flight from Sydney I am given drinks and food complementary... unfortunately I think fate is intervening as for about the fourth time over this whole trip I am given Chicken.... I politely refuse the meal... I will not go back to meat, :)

The time flies by and before I know I have arrived in Singapore... the pilot left 15 minutes early and got us there early.... the sun is shining, the heat is humid....

I make my way through immigration and stop to ask an officer a query, answer sorted she points me in the direction of the immigration desk... just as another guy also arrives.. being the polite type of a gal I am I wave for him to go ahead but the officer calls me over... ooppssss what did I do.....she actually says to me Ladies first... never let a guy go ahead!!!! She has sweets also on her station and tells me to take one before saying welcome to Singapore Katie... a nice intro and the most relaxed entry into another country.

I decide to take a taxi to my hostel.... yep its that time again and I have high hopes!!

I arrive at the hostel and am quite surprised... it looks good... however I'm told I am at the wrong one... that taxis for you... there is a free shuttle bus leaving in a few minutes and its just a short drive away... I could of walked really but hey....  I have luggage!!

I arrive at the right hostel and all I can say is wow... the standard is high... its set upon a resort and is huge.... there are about 20 blocks.... its like a hotel.... I booked for a 3 bed dorm and assumed it was 3 bunk beds... how wrong I was... its 3 single beds!!!  The room is fab.. the resort has outdoor BBQ areas to each block,  a massive swimming pool, a fitness corner and a complex full of cafes, restaurants, shops, bowling alley and a cinema!!  So far I am impressed!!

I drop my bag before having a walk and grabbing some dinner... already I like the feeling of Singapore... its much greener than I imagined... and so clean!

I then stop at the supermarket to get a few supplies before heading back to my room, as yet I am the only one and its nice so I'm making the most of it and the free wifi!!!
