We got up very early to catch our bus to the Grand Canyon, turns out that even though it is close to Las Vegas it is a very long drive. We had a stop at Hoover Dam on the way, and finally arrived at the Canyon about 2 in the afternoon. It is one of those places that you see photos of, but until you are there you just have no concept pf how huge and amazing it is. Our first glimpse of the Canyon produced lots of 'Wow's , then lots more as we walked the rim of the canyon.
