Puerto Escondido

We caught the overnight bus to Puerto Escandido where one of Mexico's best surf beaches (Playa Zicatela) is located. We arrived exhausted from the long bus trip and had a rest before heading to a local café for breakfast. In the afternoon we went to Zicatela beach to check out the surf - a bit too big and powerful for either of us.
The second day we walked ot the nearest beach to our hostel where there was a nice beach and some surf. Matt had a surf while I enjoyed reading my book in the sunshine. More thumbnails ...
