The following day we decided to head to the bechside town of Saquarema and a local beach called Itauna, unfortunately we didn't check the weather before we left and we ended up catching a bus through floods and rains to get there, Itauna is known for great surf but due to the weather when we got there it wasn't great, we met some great people from Sweden in our guest house and we all sat around having a BBQ amongst the rain. the following day the weather was better so Matt had a quick surf before we headed back to Rio to catch our flight to Buenos Aires.
