After a real mad rush, I got to Edinburgh for 7:55pm - I was supposed to be meeting the girls for dinner at 8pm, so I was just a few minutes late in the end. We had dinner in this Cuban salsa bar place near Haymarket station. The apartment we had leased was also close to the station, and it catered for about 20 of us (www.edlets.com)
On Saturday, we went to a pottery place, and painted some pottery, then we went on a ghost tour - which was the most hilarious experience! (I know, not what you'd expect a ghost tour to be!) Well, it was 3:30 in the afternoon, so the lighting didn't have the desired effect!
In the evening it was off to an Italian karaoke restaurant for dinner and some fun. The place was full of hen parties, but we were the classiest with our black clothes & red flowers in our hair to distinguish our group! We also had Japanese style fans, which actually came in really handy later, as the place got really warm. The owner of the restaurant was quite mad. We nicknamed him 'Supermario' as he bounded around the restaurant, singing & dancing like a lunatic.
