This morning we spent hanging out in Wanaka because it was too nice to leave just yet.
We went for a walk around the lake, which was also perfect for bike riding around if you wanted to. We also found a great dinosaur slide for Jakey! (took a picture for u sweet), then had fish and chips by the lake.

I had spottet a place called Puzzel World on the way in to Wanaka and really wanted to know what it was (much to Mum's protest), so i made her come look to see what it was all about..... and i'm glad i did!
It was basically rooms with optical illusions, incuding a room built on an angle so that it makes you look like your on a lean, and a Roman bathroom which looks like ur there with them (check out the pictures!)

We left Wanaka for Queenstown ( actually had a bit of trouble leaving as we didnt trust the GPS for a little while!) and made our way into Queenstown Lake Wanaka
Lake Wanaka
. Was a great drive in as ou come down the mountain pass over looking the town.

Here we stayed at a fab motel and both had our own room with big bed and plasma TV in each room, overlooking Lake Wakatipu. Great.

That night we went on the Gondola (cable car) up the mountain to the restuarant for dinner which was a buffet of very good seafood and lots of other yummy foods. The restuarant was amazing. It was overlooking the town and lake, and they had the paragliders jumping off right next to where we were sitting. It almost tempted me to have a go, but we were pretty high up.

After dinner there was a Mouri Haka show where we learnt a bit about their culture and they performed some different tribal dances including the Haka (scary). They pulled a few of us up on stage to have a go at one of the nicer dances which was funny.
