Just arrived back from the Bri Bri today. Had an absolutely fantastic time! Students worked extremely hard digging trenches for water pipes to provide water for the school and local houses in the community. Got very wet and VERY dirty. Local people were very friendly, especially the kids - we were very sad to leave. Last night we were treated to a traditional Bri Bri meal of beans and rice served in banana leaves. We took part in some traditional dancing and singing and even did a few songs ourselves led by Emmett! I have only 15 mins to write this blog as we are going for a meal in Puerto Viejo organised by Staci our group leader today. We are leaving for the turtle project tomorrow so unfortunately there will be no access to internet for another 6 days. All students are well and in extremely good spirits today as they have a bed to sleep in tonight - PURE LUXURY!

   Hasta luego X

To Nick,
Hope you enjoyed the Turtle project. The weather has been torrential in Newcastle the last few days. Other news is that England beat the Aussies today in the 2nd test. I'll leave you with a crap turtle joke. What kind of phone does a turtle use? --- A Shell Phone. Have fun. Mum and Dad.
