Thank you all, it's most encouraging. At least, I think it is, for so far only two visitors have rated it.
One, I'm sure, my dear husband, so that doesn't really count. The other, I don't know, and don't want to, so I can continue to fantasize about some secret admirer.
But I do get letters and emails, mostly friends and family, all very complimentary - I suspect cos they're scared stiff I'll write them into some future story.
Probably will, so you can stop buttering me up.
I try not to embarrass anyone, well maybe Peter's been made to look a bit of a stickler - but he's a good sport, besides, it does him good
Though one reaction had me crossing my legs, I laughed that much.
An American reader let me know he was so excited after reading I liked older men, he was toying with the idea of becoming my groupie, throwing his Depends at my feet - and himself at my mercy, I dare say.
Well, just coming up with something as ludicrous as that makes him irresistible already.
I wonder if he knows anything about real stars?
Last night, it finally stopped raining, I went out to greet the moon and the stars. The sky was clear with only a few tiny stars, bright pinpoints.
More and more appeared the longer I stood there, but no moon or bigger stars.
That can't be right, can it?
I stumbled up the hill to get a better look. It was too dark, I got scared, and hurrying back I stepped on a snail.
Not very nice, for neither of us, I guess.
How come I've lived this long and not learned a thing about the constellations?
It's a shame. I love the stars so much.
I've got to find a boyfriend who knows about these things.
Let me check my email.
