'a few steps from bliss' was a bit optimistic - for now, I'm up to my ears in bags, boxes, clothes, documents, food, books - you name it, it's lying around somewhere in this tip. I'm making feeble attempts to get some kind of order into this mess, but, to be honest, it just scares me to death.
What happened here, and how are we ever going to leave tomorrow with at least some of the stuff we'll be needing the next two months?
I've got to get packing - tomorrow night I'll drink the wine and gaze into Clédat's starry night.
